Megan Torres

Megan is a civil litigator primarily representing clients in employment disputes, injury claims and civil rights. Megan has represented both defendants and plaintiffs on these matters which gives her valuable insight into various litigation strategies and the motivations of the parties. This experience allows her to navigate the litigation process to protect the client’s best interests, keeping their goals as her North Star.

Megan has represented municipalities, school corporations and small businesses to defend against claims of discrimination. She is well-versed in the Title VII of the federal Civil Rights Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act and the many related administrative regulations.

Megan also has a passion for representing churches and other religious entities, keeping them abreast of constitutional developments, application of the ministerial exception, and tax issues. Megan also represents physicians in hospital relations and employment disputes, including peer review and contracting matters.

community involvement

Megan is a Fort Wayne native and enthusiastic supporter of Fort Wayne’s community culture and development. She serves on the Board of Directors for Allen County- Fort Wayne Historical Society and Allen County Friends of the Parks. Megan also serves as the Co- Chair of the Allen County Bar Association’s Women’s section. In her spare time, Megan enjoys Cubs and Tincaps baseball and spending time with family at the lake.
