Fred is not only the “Beckman” in Beckman Lawson, he’s also a key contributor to the firm’s personality and culture. After a tour of duty as a U.S. Navy lieutenant in World War II, Fred returned to Fort Wayne to practice law, and he did so for more than a half century.
As one of the founding partners of the firm, Fred provided a wealth of practical, seasoned experience.
Fred has served as a board member for countless community organizations, including two of his favorites -- Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. For 32 years he also served as a member of the board of the Allen County Society for Crippled Children and Adults (now Turnstone).
